I forgot about P.G. Wodehouse and A.A. Milne! My list is by no means exhaustive, I guess. :) Every one I make is different, including all the "books of the hour" and neglecting past favorites. When coming up with my "favorites", I tend to concentrate mostly on the deep, epic, emotional books, forgetting how much enjoyment I get out of humorous writing. It's been so long since I've read anything by Wodehouse, I'm not sure what stories were my favorites... I know "A Damsel in Distress" was hilarious, as well as the Jeeves and Wooster stories. And "Winnie the Pooh" and "The House at Pooh Corner" are wonderful! Eeyore is my favorite character. When I do a "Favorite Quotes" post (someday), I'll have to include some of his! :D

The Black Arrow is my favorite RLS book. And my dearest Janna, I am shocked that you have not included P.G. Wodehouse or A.A. Milne! No list is complete without a little Wodehouse or Milne style humor. :D
