I went on a mission's trip to Papua New Guinea this spring, and really believe God has called me there as a full-time Bible teacher, so now everything in my life is getting honed in for that goal. The same holds true for every single one of my "favorite authors". We must be very careful not to let these fallible human writers unduly influence our thinking. Basing my entire world-view on the writings of C. S. Lewis or Ken Ham or A. W. Tozer would be settling for second-best.
