Looking for Me
Sunday, Jun 15th, 2008 by Janna

I was a captive, but mercy released me,
I was in darkness, but now I can see;
Over the mountain, where lonely I wandered,
Jesus, my Savior, came looking for me.
Weeping, I longed for the rapture of pardon,
Longed from my burden of sin to be free;
Then as I lifted my earnest petition,
Jesus, my Savior, came looking for me.
Filled with the fullness of perfect salvation,
Washed in the blood that was shed on the tree;
This my rejoicing through ages eternal:
Jesus, my Savior, came looking for me.
- from the hymn, Looking for Me

Howdy
I enjoy reading your blog, Janna. Tell your family I said ‘Hello’.
Good Morning Janna! Thanks so much for sharing this hymn, it is so beautiful- what a great thought for my day!
Hi, Bud!! What a neat surprise to see your comment on my blog! I’ll be sure to tell everyone “Hello” for you. And you do the same for your own family, from us!
Kaitlyn, I’m glad you enjoyed the hymn. I’d never heard of it before. Aren’t the words amazing?
Keep up the good work.
