Strawberries
Tuesday, Jul 15th, 2008 by Janna

Our strawberry plants are producing juicy sweet fruits by the bucketful! Just yesterday, we picked somewhere around six gallons. Washed, hulled, and frozen, they’ll sure come in handy this winter when we get a craving for a strawberry-banana smoothie or buttered toast with strawberry jam. For now, we’re relishing the luxury of fresh strawberries on ice cream, waffles and — of course — strawberry shortcake.

Oh, I’ll *try* not to be jealous!
Of course, I know that much work goes into such a bountiful harvest! What beautiful fruit! Thank you for sharing your lovely, refreshing pictures (and for making me hungry!
)
Yours in Christ,

Why is it that your photos are always so much more beautiful than mine? That last one (of your sister?) is so gorgeous. The light and her expression are wonderful. Lovely strawberries, too of course.
What delightful photos!! I think strawberries are the most delicious fruit…
You have captured the beauty of strawberries (and the fun of gathering them!) so nicely.
You have succeeded in making very hungry for strawberries! LOL!
