Three Vintage Things
Friday, Sep 19th, 2008 by Janna
I finally got around to posting a few vintage items in my Etsy shop (http://joyofhome.etsy.com/). Snooping around the local thrift stores, I found these treasures at bargain prices, and now, yes indeed! I’m trying to sell them for gigantic profit.
To increase my chances of a sale or two, I spent way too long shooting and editing photos. But, truly, I’d rather spend that time working with my camera and Paint Shop Pro, than sit staring at a glaring white “Description” box, trying to come up with flowery mush to describe my items.
You know what they say. “A picture is worth a thousand words.” I’ll be grateful if mine are worth the fifty or so required for an enthralling, “this-makes-me-really-want-to-buy-it” sort of description.

Pretty things! I’d find it difficult to part with those.
Well, your pictures make me want to buy them!
Beautiful photographs! And apparently successful, judging from a look at your Etsy shop!
I hate those empty “Description” boxes, too!
Yours in Christ,
Shannon
Have you tried http://www.picnik.com for photo editing? Someone told me about it just the other day, and I went to try it out. Otherwise, I use Paint Shop Pro myself.
