He created the universe. He gave us humans Life, and asked that we love and obey Him. We refused, and the Death-sentence was placed upon mankind's head. But God is not willing that <i>any</i> should perish. He came to earth Himself, becoming a Man, the one and only Perfect Man. He died for us, taking our sins upon Himself, paying our debt, giving us a chance to be free from sin and eternal death in Hell.
