I remember when they first came out as a mini-series and being absolutely tortured waiting for each installment! I love the part where Anne talks with her window friend "Katie," because Daniel has recently discovered his own window friend (who he has named Toby). I saw "Anne of Green Gables the Sequel" a month or so ago and really enjoyed it. My family used to own "Anne of Green Gables" but I don't really remember it. Since I did recently watch one of the movies I want to see the others ones too. Also I've been a lurker for about a year now. I really enjoy reading you blog; and congratulations on becoming an aunty. I became an aunty last November. It's great! Nieces are wonderful things! I have never seen “Anne of Avonlea”.
