I would have to agree! I love all of those movies. I might have to add Elinor Dashwood from the new Sense and Sensibility to the list, though!
They are some of mine as well. I think my new favorite movie is Wives and Daughters… if I knew what a dear movie it is I would have watched it before!

Oh, what delightful heroines! Anne Elliot has to be my favorite heroine of all time, though — probably because her wonderful traits are the ones I most feel the want of! Heroines like this encourage me to better myself, not to just be satisfied with where I am.
