With a “Happy Belated Valentine’s Day” to you all!
Favorite Jane Austen Novel:
Pride and Prejudice

Favorite Jane Austen Movie:
Pride and Prejudice, 1995 A&E version

Favorite Jane Austen Hero and Heroine:
Henry Tilney and Catherine Morland from Northanger Abbey

[One of My] Favorite Jane Austen Quote[s]:
“Elizabeth, on her side, had much to do. She wanted to ascertain the feelings of each of her visitors, she wanted to compose her own, and to make herself agreeable to all; and in the latter object, where she feared most to fail, she was most sure of success, for those to whom she endeavoured to give pleasure were prepossessed in her favour. Bingley was ready, Georgiana was eager, and Darcy determined to be pleased.“

Ha Ha! it worked! That’s ok. I’m sure everyone has that now and then. Glad to see you back!
Oh, and by the way. Happy late valentines day to you too!
What a good idea for Valentine’s Day! Jane Austen does indeed capture intelligent romance in her descriptive writing.
I am about two thirds of the way through Northanger Abbey and indeed Catherine and Mr. Tilney have an agreeable relationship.
I simply LOVE P&P!!!! My sister and I set the tv on the kitchen table one time and watch it while making dinner. LOL
